Mario is a versatile gaming character; from the original 1985 classic Super Mario Brothers we've had Mario at the Olympics, and Super Mario Galaxy by Nintendo. Mario has also appeared in many sports series; the Mario Golf game was made for Nintendo 64 in 1999 and has now been made available for the Wii on Virtual Console.
