British video game awards

The video game Baftas are given out to recognize the very best in artistic, creative and technical innovation in video games. They are the British version of the American video game awards held in December last year. And just as the game of the year in that awards show was presented by the sexy Megan Fox, the British version featured the gorgeous Kirsty Gallagher:

Kirsty Gallagher presented the best game of 2008 bafta to Super Mario Galaxy by Nintendo. In the awards held last week, the British academy members voted for more wholesome titles, unlike their counterparts across the Atlantic. Steven Spielberg’s boom blox won for best casual game, while Professor Layton and the Curious Village took the best handheld game bafta. All that remains now is for the academy to recognize video games for the elderly.
