Namco Networks has announced the availability of Alpine Racer through Apple's App Store for iPhone and iPod touch for $5.99. Alpine Racer brings alive the skiing and snowboarding experience in 3D graphics as players pull off aerial tricks and zoom downhill.
Players tilt the iPhone or touch the screen to control their racer. Players can race solo, against an opponent, or against a bot. As they earn points in the game players get to upgrade top speed, acceleration, power and outfits. The free version of the iPhone skiing game is limited to one race and can be downloaded from Apple's App Store.
