Video games scholarships for girls



Gamasutra reports that the Vancouver Film School offers a $49,250 scholarship to girls who are into video games, and who wish to attend its Game Design program. The video games industry is dominated by males but female graduates form the Game Design program have gone on to work in well known gaming titles. Other companies that provide scholarships for boys and girls into video game design, and everyone passionate about games, include G4TechTV ($7,000), Radical Entertainment ($2,500), Slant Six Games ($2,500), Annex Pro ($2,000), and BigPark ($1,000).
